On July 10th. 1954, Max Cutcliffe and I paired as a successful combination to reach the summit of the Cap after some excellent leading by Max on a surprisingly mild winter’s day. Geoff Bratt and Doug. Watkins also reached the top. A description of the climb is contained in "Skyline" No. 5.
